Summary: Beautiful location on the coastline. Enjoyed seeing the sunrise every morning from the large enclosed lanai. Pool was well maintained. About a 25 minute drive into downtown Hilo on most days. Puna Trail head is close by (bring good shoes should you plan to go the 2 miles one-way to Shipman Beach. Only slight negatives were the stackable washer/dryer had an unpleasant odor in the hallway outside the downstairs bedrooms, and if you are staying in the upstairs master bathroom you will need to navigate some steps to get luggage up and down. Overall a quiet, relaxing location.
